I got in for Spring 2022 for days but have limited social media. I don't know anyone else whose gotten in so I wanted to see if anyone replies. This exciting but nerve wrecking at the same time. I started looking into the costs of classes and books and am becoming a little overwhelmed as it goes over my financial aid amount. Any advice, experience, tips On anything in general to JJC nursing program would be awesome.

I live in Chicago another one of my classmates lives in Skokie and we both got in. I didn't know they changed the requirements for the TEAS test. I say study for the TEAS get a great score and have as many pre reqs as possible. I'm a horrible test taker and I only got a 66. Could have just been luck I got in but I'm in. I had all of my reqs besides micro, which I'm taking now with the program. It's alot of work. Good luck!
OMG that is awesome that u got in with that score. I know if u do good on your classes and have them completed or majority u have a higher chance.
I'm wondering how many ppl applied. I know there's alot of ppl who don't wanna be nurses anymore bc the pandemic scared them off. But awesome we're in.

I believe it used to be 60, however they got rid of the minimum score so there isn’t one anymore, however I think you should still do your best bc your score does put points on your ranking

I just wanted to update everyone who is on here thinking about applying or did apply. I did not successfully pass my first semester. I did well in the clinical portion and theory but I was a point away from making the 80% on tests mark. If you do not have an 80% in both theory and the test grade you must reapply. Which I did bc I know I can do this. I'm just a little behind but at least I know what to expect if I do make it this 2nd time around. Good luck everyone
