I talked to one of the admission staff. He said decisions will come out mid-January for Early Decision ? one more month to go!! ?
Hey! Happy Holidays to everyone. I am a current Direct Entry MSN student at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing wrapping up the last semester. Historically yes, DNP early decisions seem to be provided the first or second week of January. In my experience you never truly know when they will come out... for example: for my admissions into the MSN entry program, I was told I would receive an admissions decision within 6-8 weeks and then the same day (at 10:40pm EST) I received my acceptance email with a wonderful scholarship as well. Point of my post, you never really know, which kind of makes it exciting right? We are so close! Good luck to everyone ? BTW I love Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, its a wonderful school with great faculty that cares, which is why I want to continue there with my advanced nursing education.
Has anyone applied elsewhere? Hopkins is my top choice, I was accepted into a couple other great schools which require a deposit by Jan 1st... which is a little frustrating but the price we need to pay I guess. Maybe we will get some good news before the first you never know! Fingers crossed ?

Hello!
Thank you for your post! I applied to BSN-DNP FNP program and JHU is also my top choice. According to the previous posts, like you said, decision dates were random and they spread throughout 2 weeks! You're so positive ? I am just super nervous and hoping for the best!
I am glad you love JHU cause I am excited to be part of the community if I get in! I did apply to couple schools as backups and they require deposit fee by the end of December ? I don't know what to do either ?
At the end of the day it sounds like you are in a good scenario. It's nice to have an acceptance at least somewhere ? I would say narrow down your top choice from the school(s) you were accepted from already and pay the deposit for that school the evening prior to the deadline. That is what I will be doing. It's painful to lose money I know...

Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the DNP program at Hopkins. I recently applied prior to the early Nov 1 deadline. I noticed from last years thread that some applicants mentioned they had interviews already (at this time). Has anyone applied and been interviewed yet? Best of luck to everyone.
