Hey guys! Any applicants with impending interviews or recent offers with The Johns Hopkins Hospital? I've got an interview coming up and would love to open a dialogue with anyone else who's in a similar position. If anyone can share any information regarding the interview, shared time, culture at JHH, etc that'd be great even from folks that completed their clinical or externship rotations there. Any current nurse residents at JHH also feel free to chime in please :) I'm applying from San Diego and I graduate in May. Good luck to everyone!
Hey! I actually just had my interview in the NICU so depending on whether or not I get an offer I will be moving to the area from Wisconsin! I am from a super safe suburb in Wisconsin so I definitely wanted something similar. I was talking to a few of the nurses during my share time and they said that Canton and Federal Hill are pretty safe and have a lot of young people. However, apartments can get pretty expensive so you would most likely have to have a roommate! Hope that helped :)

Hope that your interview went well!!! I've heard great things about those areas as well as Fells Point. Unfortunately I ultimately ended up turning down the offer with CVSICU. Not sure if I'm gonna be beating myself up for it later but ultimately it was a difficult decision I had to make. Good luck though! I hope you hear from them soon! :)

Hey a_r0396! I had my interview with the NICU on April 6th, but still have not heard anything back since she said it would about 2 weeks until they completed all of their interviews. Let me know if you hear something. I hope it went well!
Hey mcco.e19! I still haven't heard back yet either! They told me that I would get a decision closer to May 1st! The waiting is killing me! Have you heard anything??
Hey! I called a few days ago since I was told about two weeks and she told me May 1 as well. Sue is on vacation this week so I honestly don't foresee anything until the end of next week!
Hi there! I am moving to Baltimore to start in August in the Nurse Residency program on the ortho/trauma floow. I am hoping to live in Federal Hill but I agree the apartments are expensive to live alone. I am looking for a roommate if you would be interested in talking to see if we'd be a good fit!!

Has anyone planning to move to Baltimore thought about where you're living? I'm starting to look at apartment complexes but I don't know much about the area or the safest neighborhoods. If anyone has any light to shed on that, that would be great! Congrats again, everyone!
