Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Fall 2022

Hi y'all! I applied for the Entry into Nursing (MSN) program at Johns Hopkins for Fall 2022 and did not see a forum created yet. Would love to chat with other applicants and go through the process of anxiously waiting together!?

Hey, Rachael! For the direct-entry MSN, I was reading somewhere else that the acceptance rate for Johns Hopkins is about 57%. Their overall undergraduate acceptance rate is less than 10%.

Are you sure that’s for direct MSN and not RN-MSN?

I am very sure. It’s easy to go and look-up statistics. 

 

Here is a link for one of the sites I used. It was 53%.

Ya, I have seen that. Sometimes they are right but not always. I haven't seen anything confirming that number on their website or in their webinars. But the one you linked does specify entry MSN so I would tend to believe it more.

Has anyone happened to speak with someone from the school about when decisions may be coming out?

I haven’t but have a feeling it’s going to be this week. Their website mentioned early decisions come out early January.

I just sent them an email asking if there is a specific date we should be looking out for! I had another question I wanted to ask but I thought it wouldn't hurt to throw that question in there for the sake of our sanity LOL. I will let you all know what they reply with! ?

So they already replied, faster than I had anticipated. The admissions officer said decisions will be coming out "very soon via email". ?

I will literally pass away. But she said, and I quote, "very soon" sooo to me that is implying today or literally tomorrow LOL
