Johns Hopkins DNP FNP Fall 2021

Hi everyone! I have not seen a thread about Johns Hopkins' Fall 2021 DNP-FNP application cycle. Has anyone who applied early decision heard anything yet? I'm wondering if COVID has delayed their processing at all. Any insights would be great!

Hello, this is my first time posting but I have been lurking for a while. Like many of you, I am also an applicant for the 2021 JHU DNP family practice program, and am eagerly awaiting a decision. I do not think anyone should read anything into the absence of a decision so far. I have no inside knowledge but would be willing to bet that the admissions process is just running a little slower than hoped. When the decisions do go out, I expect to see a lot of confirmations  on this thread. So I think we should all stay calm and carry on.

Hey everyone! 
just wanted to give everyone the update I was given over the phone. So apparently the March 15th is when they START rolling out decisions. They have a lot this year so it’s rolling out a tad slower. Sigh - guess we have to keep waiting ??

Gah! Thanks for the update! Did they give you any indication on how they are rolling admissions out? Is it by program? LOL I literally cannot wait hahah- clearly

Honestly they didn’t say! She just said it’s currently in motion. ?

I suspect that is the case. I note that Danika R posted above that she received her acceptance last Friday. But I infer, based on her post on a different  thread on this forum, that she applied to a different DNP program than family practice. If I am wrong, I hope she corrects me. 

I was told yesterday that JHU hopes to get DNP family practice decisions out in two weeks.

Just tried to check on the status of my application like I do every other day. But my application no longer shows up, it just says "Review Your Program Selections" and when I click on "Continue To My Application" there is an error message?? Anyone else experiencing this?

Nvm, just cleared my cookies and now we good

Are you using NursingCAS to check your application status? Would they update that if they make a decision?

I am actually not sure, but that is the only place I can see my application so I am obsessively checking there hoping to see something other than "verified" LOL

I was accepted during early decision and my CAS application never said anything after verified, it doesn’t update after they notify you. I had my interview on 12/18 and received an email of acceptance on 1/6 @ 720pm EST. It is Spring Break so maybe they have the week off? I know they are assigning faculty advisors in April so you should be finding out your admissions status soon- good luck everyone!
