I applied for the DNP-CNS, and got my acceptance on Friday. I also got into a local state school... I interviewed early March, but applied by 1/1. There was issue with my recommendations getting into the system, however. I haven't gotten my official admissions packet, though.
I know someone else here got into this track, but it wouldn't let me reply and use the space button for whatever.
I keep debating on which one I really want to go to...

I was accepted to the DNP-FNP program at Johns Hopkins! Also, Columbia, Case Western and Emory. Tough decision to make and I'm just at a total loss. Not sure which one to go with. Congrats to those of you who have gotten in, as well.
I'm going to be attending Hopkins in the Fall. I'm from Florida, looking for a place to live. Anyone know of affordable, safe housing options?
I started looking to get an idea about how much it is. It's usually around 650-800 with utilities and with roommates. They also have one bedrooms for like 700+.
They have their housing website where you can look for available apartments. I was told to start looking around June/July.
My friend said that if you look at the map as a clock face, there's an area between 12 and 1 that is considered safe. He lives in the amount Vernon area, and it's fairly pricey.

Here they have a few of their neighborhoods. I was told Charles Village is the place to live. It's close to the main campus, which you can take a shuttle to the Nursing school.
There's a shuttle in mount Vernon. There's lots of shuttles because of safety. On every corner there are cops. Driving from my friends to JHU went from really nice, to sketchy as hell to sketchy to JHU.
I was thinking of getting a place in the suburbs and driving in. I don't know what parking is like at JHU though. I also don't know whether to get my own place or get a 2 Bedroom and get a roommate. Thoughts?
Hi everyone. I just returned from a quick trip to Baltimore. Checked out the safety situation. Holy Crap is
the area scary! The main campus is awesome but the SON is not on the main campus. There are cops on
every corner, literally. I started a FB group for us by invite only, so if you message me your info I'll add you.
Congrats! I started a FB group for us, if you PM me your email address I'll invite you to join.
