Johns Hopkins Direct Entry MSN Fall 2024

Making a post for anyone who has applied to Johns Hopkins demsn for fall 2024 as I haven't seen a forum for it yet! It looks like in some years past people have heard back in the first week of January? How are we feeling??

I just got an email asking for an updated transcript and that they are still in the review process!

Has anyone received any updates? I know Peyton said they are still in review... hopefully we will know by end of January? Considering the website says January? I am eagerly waiting hahaha I believe the decision will come via email do I have that right?

Hey there.. I am a current direct entry MSN student at Hopkins. They will email you with a decision letter and that will have a link to check your offer letter if you are admitted. They should be sending out DNP admissions decisions this week coming (15-19th). I am assuming the direct entry MSN applicants should get theres as well if you applied by the early deadline.  Hope that helps...

hi I have a quick question. can you still need to take one more class for the pre reqs yet still apply to the program? as long as you show proof of completion before you start if admitted?

Hi. When I talked to admissions they said you do not have to have your prerequisites complete to apply, that they just need to be done before you start.

Yes... many people get admissions decsions based on the contingency they finish the required course work prior to the first day of school. I believe they require you to get at least a B or better for the courses...

I applied with the priority deadline and submitted it on Oct 31! Thank you so much!!
