Hello! I wanted to make this feed because I know there were a lot of us who interviewed for the Johns Hopkins Pediatric RN Residency in early January. I was getting a little anxious and just wanted to keep up with other applicants! Has anyone received a call, email, etc?

Another was fairly long, but I felt a little rougher doing it. My last interview seemed to go really well. Lots of members of the panel spoke to me. I feel like I talked too much during every interview. I guess that gives them plenty to go on!
I counted about 35 people on the conference call. It looks like about 30-35 positions. Although who knows how many people they interview, how many people missed the call, and how many internal hires there are.
I didn’t notice how many people were on the conference call. But that’s a lot I mean if you had 30-35 ppl and that’s just one day, that means that if they interviewed on Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday that’s like what? 120 people ? I want to get NICU very much due to a personal experience but I feel like that’s the interview I was like super nervous and stumbling on my words. I believe it was my weaker interview. So I don’t know what’s going to happen. Not going to lie I’m impressed with how competitive it is and that humbles me a bit and scares me. I did the best that I could. I’m just like super jumpy now every time my phone rings ? I was reading other people that got the residency and everyone gets an answer back in about a week after their interview. Let me know when you get in, I’ll let you know also. Who knows maybe we are in the same cohort god willing ??????
I meant I saw 35 people on the prep call. So maybe the interview 50 or so people total? I know it is driving me crazy as well, hard to concentrate. I alternate between feeling like I killed it and feeling like there’s no way I will get the job. I also interviewed for NICU, and probably stumbled the most in that interview, but not too badly. I prefer CDH over NICU, and tried to let that show. Really they are selecting us based on personality fit more than skills. It’s good that it is so competitive, because that’s how you know it is a great job! Hopefully will hear something next week but who knows. Based on other threads it looks like a week to a week and a half before people got responses. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
