Hey guys! I wanted to start a thread for those who have applied and those who are looking to apply. Applications are due on the 29th and follow up documents are due February 5th 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (CST) Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone's application status still say "in review", who had an interview on February 24th (for med-surg)?

I also think each unit operates differently like med-surg is in need stat so that's why they are faster than other sites. 

I applied for med-surg! They modified my application status even yesterday and it still says "in review".

I had one interview with the ICU on Friday, February 26. I have not heard anything back and haven't had a second interview :/ hoping to hear something soon... Jessica Shelton was out of her office Last Thursday until she came back this Tuesday, so she was out for a little while.

@Tru1 Yes, I am a patient care tech. I do have one friend, who is an internal candidate as well, who was offered a position in the ED and I saw on facebook a girl from TCU announced that she was offered a position in the ED (not sure if she was internal or not). But it looks like they are still making decisions about the ED, so that's good! Critical Care told me that last time around they hired 4 residents in the ICU and I am sure ED hires a good amount too.

Wow she was already offered a position for the ED! That’s great! seems Jps is very selective even working there does not guarantee you a residency position LOL. But I mean yea they’re still making a decision but shouldn’t they know already applications have been closed since February 5th and interviews have already been conducted. I had one interview on February 23rd and my application has not been modified since then. So I’m literally not even thinking about it anymore.

@Tru1 Yes, it is definitely a competitive program. It is super impressive that you got an interview if you don't already work there!! That is something to be proud of for sure. I know a lot of great external candidate who did not hear back at all, for even an interview! It is hard to wait this long, but the interviews were the biggest part of the process, not just the application. So, I try to think of my waiting time from after the interviews. I believe they did all of their interviews 2/22-2/26. So hopefully the girl earlier is right, that we should hear something by Friday. That will be 2 weeks from the last interviews held. All of my friends have all heard from the same recruiter when they were offered jobs (ranging from L&D to ED)- she was out of the office 3/4-3/8, so she's been extremely busy and out of the office. I really hope we hear something tomorrow!! Fingers crossed for both of us ?

I have a second interview for ICU tomorrow morning. I’m not sure when ICU will make offers though, I just heard that ED will make them by Friday.

I got an offer from THR Forth Worth for a Neuro Telemetry, but I really wanted to go in med surg. I have not gotten any response from JPS (applied for med-surg) and my application status is still saying "in review". I am not able to decide if I accept the offer or not. ?

@darien_mccord That's awesome! Best of luck to you! I guess that means I didn't get it, so at least a positive is that I can stop worrying about it now haha

Did anyone get any email regarding the residency interview that happened on 24th (specifically med-surg)?
