Didn't see a discussion made, so I created one to update each other on notifications, etc. Good luck everyone!

Internal candidates would have to be people who are currently working at JMH. It doesn't include those who completed clinical or preceptorship with them. 

 

Since when we complete clinical with them we do not have a clock-in/out system we are only given access for EPIC and that's it. 

 

Also, on the application they do specifically say if you are an internal candidate to apply through the employee portal. 

 

It does seem like every Cohort the amount of applicants skyrocket! It's about 1% of candidates that will be hired which is incredibly competitive.

I applied to a job in Fresno and got an interview a few days later so I guess that's where I'll end up. I did my clinicals there and most hospitals accept new grads in all/most departments, BUT it's also Fresno so...

Has anyone who is an external candidate gotten an interview invitation? Kinda gave up on hearing back, so it's more curiosity at this point

Someone on Facebook New Grad Bay Area Group posted they received an invite as an external candidate for med-surg 😞

Wait...med-surg? I thought the application said the openings were in OR and ER? 🤔

Nope. It was ER, Med-Surg and OR. 🫤

I haven't heard anything yet as an external candidate. I have a friend who did get an invite for an ED interview as an external candidate, but they did their senior preceptorship in the JMH ED.
