Hi!! Just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone got any new updates!!

I think a lot of place use a point system! I think they really weigh in on the practicum. I didn't get my practicum in the NICU either but I also worked as a PCT in the NICU! Pretty cool that we have really similar backgrounds though! ?

That's so awesome we have similar experience!! Where did you do your practicum? Wishing us all good luck during this process ?

I did mine in Medsurge! Yes I hope we all get called eventually ?

For us that are waiting for NICU, I wanted to update what they had told me...they are finishing interviews this week and calling back for offers by hopefully next week. I'm not sure if this is their only round of interviews though. 
I also spoke to someone who got an interview that had no preceptorship experience anywhere with no background in NICU who still got an interview so there may still be hope for those who didn't do a preceptorship in NICU.

Just some interesting info for people who applied to units other than NICU. My friend was hired into Med/Surg last cohort. She said from what she remembers different units contacted people at different days or weeks. So for example, NICU people were contacted and interviewed first and then OR people were contacted and interviewed next (just making up the units for example). She said everything took way longer than what they originally said. She said she hasn't heard anything about her unit doing interviews or anything about new grads in general.

Superrrrr weird but thank you so much for the info!! So they could have possibly not reached out to med surg applicants yet?
