Good luck to you too!! I wonder how much longer we have to wait to find out if we made it to interviews?
Did everyone get the email this morning? Notifications by phone call go out mid to late next week! Over 600 applicants though! Wow.
Does anyone know how many positions are available?

Me too!! At this point, I feel like a residency program may not be available to everyone in the bay area. Has anyone started applying to other entry-level positions that are not a nurse residency?
Did you guys have a preceptorship in the NICU?

I just graduated from an ADN program and preceptorship was not something they offered. I start my RN-BSN program in August so I'll likely have to wait, as I'm sure there are many others in those 600+ who have. I'm still holding onto the hope but it seems like everything the nurses in clinical told me about the bay area is coming true.

What did the nurses tell you?
Kind of wish they did not leave applications open for a month long

When I met people who worked in Stockton but lived in Oakland I asked why they didn't stay closer to home. That's one LONG commute!
They explained that there was a lot of competition and they had to pay the bills so they chose to commute instead.
At the time I thought, there has to be something! There are so many people and jobs being posted daily!
Now, after hearing how many people applied for 30 positions, I'm starting to see exactly what those nurses meant.
