I was just wondering what one can do between graduation and passing the boards? That's where I am now and I wish to find a part time job while I'm studying. What kind of jobs can I look for? Is it possible to work in the hospital or medical facilities?
Thanks!

If you live in the US, most states allow you to work for a limited period of time before you get your license. The state I live in allows you to work for 30 days. New grads typically wait a couple of weeks in between graduation and starting their new jobs ... then they take their boards during the first couple of weeks on the job. By the time the 30-day window has elapsed, they have their license. There are usually some restrictions on your practice (e.g. regarding medications, etc.), but most good hospitals are used to accommodating that. Also, if your employer has an even half-way-decent orientation program, you would have an RN preceptor to cover any aspects of care that are restricted.
I'm surprised your school didn't tell you that ... so, maybe that is not true in your state. Check with your state board and/or some local hospitals to find out how they handle that.
Also ... while it is recommended that you review for boards, it's not generally a good idea to put a lot of time in between your schooling and taking the test. You want to take the test while things are still fresh in your mind.
Your issue is that few people will want to hire someone who is only looking for a temporary job. They will not want to invest in your training if you will only be staying a few weeks or maybe a couple of months. If you don't want to start your nursing career right away, you will need to either find a job in which the employer is OK with you being there for only a short time ... or you will need to make a longer committment to an employer so that you are worth the investment ... or you will have to behave in an unethical manner and lie to your prospective employer about your longer-term plans should they ask.
Good luck,

In the state where I lived, most of the foriegn nurses starts as a CNA (nursing assistant) worked in nursing home, or one on one or even in the hospital.
