where are the jobs for new nurses?

I know there are a lot of schools graduating at the same time which makes for slim-pickings for jobs. I am looking for part-time, with an off-shift start. I know usually ERs have this, but have had no luck with any of the local hospitals even hiring new grads. It seems like they have already hired their quota. I am in southern NJ close to Kennedy, Underwood, Virtua.

Anyone else have any luck??

well, i'm in ny and over here getting a job as a pn, has been difficult, annoying, and depressing for me. everyone wants atleast 1 yr experience. i mean come on, just hire people and they'll do their job, enough with this experience crap!- sorry.... ranting!

I am a nurse and am aware that the YMCA of Camden County is looking for a camp nurse. New Graduates are welcome to apply, along with RN's, LPN's and EMT's . If you work for the camp, as a health care director, the tuition for your children is free. If you have no kids, you can maybe bring a niece or nephew. They would get free camp for the whole summer. You work, get paid and they go to a great facility for free.
