Jobs as new grad?!

Hi guys I was just wondering how fast were you able to get a job as a new grad? Which hospital do you recommend applying to? Gonna be graduating nursing school soon! Thanks in Advance:)

I don't have any answers for your question since I am still looking for my first job. Are you in tge Las Vegas area? I graduated nursing school in Dec 2016 and just relocated to LV. I am officially licensed and have been looking for work. I applied and interviewed for two new grad RN residency positions at St Rose, but didn't get either. I applied for 20 med-surg positions at various Valley hospitals, but still waiting to hear back. I am wondering where new grads are having luck finding jobs too.I wonder if there is a preference for local new grads over relocated new grads since the locals did their clinicals here.

I am a new nurse passed my NCLEX last year and i recently got hired for their new grad program at Henderson Hospital. It's a new hospital and they are immediate hiring for nurses. Maybe that's something you guys want to apply to. Goodluck and let me know if you get the job :)

If the hospital route is not working out, you could try LTC or home health agencies. Many of those hire new grads. Also I if you are interested in psych check out some of the inpatient psych facilities, like Rawson Neal, Montevista, Seven Hills, Spring Mountain. They hire new grads also.
