Jobs that accept New Grads in Denver, Colorado

Published

Hello! I am relocating to Denver next month and was wondering if there are any clinics or hospitals that hire new RN graduates outside of new grad programs?

I just passed my NCLEX and I have my BSN. Thank you!

Hello and Welcome to Denver!  Mostly new grads do go into New Grad programs right out of school if they want to be in a hospital or clinic, but of course there are exceptions to the norm.  You might get on the website Indeed and upload your resume and see what Denver has to offer for you; pay attention to what area of town the job is in, so that your drive from your location is not a long haul for every shift.  Congratulations on passing your NCLEX and getting your BSN!!  I remember how exciting that was...a long time ago, when we had to wait about a month to know if we passed or failed.

Thank you so much!

I ended up getting offered a job at a correctional facility and I have two interviews scheduled for a new grad program at CO's children's hospital. I can't imagine having to wait that long to find out if I passed or failed. This is def the generation of instant gratification.

Fantastic!! I also looked in to a correctional facility recently, and turned down the job because the thought was too gloomy. Also, you cannot have your phone for your entire shift, and you're not allowed to leave the place for your entire shift. No leaving for lunch or checking your phone in your car for a break.  Also, the pay was low and location too far.  You would probably like the children's hospital if you are wanting to deal with babies/small children/ their families.  Again, congrats and Welcome!!

They're offering $48/hr and this facility lets you bring your phone inside. Those were the first few questions I asked LMAO. I'm a bit sketched out and definitely going to jump ship if it's too outlandish for me. The children's hospital doesn't start until May so I definitely have some time. Thank you for the heads up.
