I am relocating to another state and am currently in the process of looking for a job. I have one year of experience on a med/surg unit. I am not particular about the field of nursing I work in, in fact I would love to see what else is out there. My question is, when applying for a specific job, is it okay to include letters from patients/patient's family as supporting documents as long as I don't include any names or dates? Just want to make sure I'm not violating any rights. Thanks!

Sure. I do recommend reserving such things for the interview, though alluding to them in your cover letter would be acceptable. Most folks reviewing apps don't want to wade through pages of extra documents early in the process.
