I am a registered nurse with 5 plus years experience in ER, and currently working in a Cath Lab.
Due to a chronic back injury, I will be out of work for a year for surgery and rehab. With a mortgage, 4 kids and other bills, being off work this long is an impossibility. I was hoping someone in this forum could direct me to nursing jobs that could be done from home while recooping. I have read articles about telenursing/teletriage nursing, but am unable to find any info about how to apply for these positions and be able to do the work from home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to respond to my home e-mail with any advice.
Thank you in advance.

Hi
I'm from UK so much of what I know isn';t really helpful, however it is always worth searching on the all nurses career pages
Just click on the link above - that's a good start. The other thing is to look at the companies that others are inquiring about
I've posted a fink below that lists several companies - I don't know about these companies but their websites might give you more of an idea of what they're offering

Good luck and let us know how you get on. The other people that might help with advice are WING USA for work injured nurses http://www.wingusa.org/
