Hmm, this seems a bit broad of a question. Satisfaction among what type of nursing, hospital vs nursing home vs what? Night shift, day shfit, satisfaction with employer but not with doctors you work with, nurse patient ratio, all of the above, none of the above, or what? More details will make it easier to respond.

Good management that has the staff/patient interest at heart instead of the bottom line. Good teamwork, support systems, and a healthy work environment among interdisciplinary staff is what I feel are important.

yeah! thanks for the response. It's abroad question, I know but I want to leave it broad so that I can have various kind of response that will reflect various situations and circumstances. (any type of nurse, in any setting, with doctors, with management, colleagues etc. ) that's why I said "variables in general".
