I am a FNP that is in dire need of a joy. I graduated in May 2018. I currently reside in Mississippi but I have found it quite difficult to obtain employment here. I recently applied for licensure in Texas. Does anyone know of any places around the Dallas or Houston area that may be willing to hire a NP with little experience?

Specializes in Psychiatric and Mental Health NP (PMHNP).

It is hard to get that first NP job. You need to find areas with a shortage of primary care providers. Employers in those areas are much more receptive to hiring new grads.
