I just read your post and I kind of felt like you answered your own question with these statements:
Position 2: "Honestly, the only benefit I see to this position is the money." and
"My personal life...a spouse that with job #2 I would only have 4 days/month off with"
Position 1: "I could always pick up more time at a sister facility and have actually had a PRN offer from a small rehab hospital local to here as well."
Personally, I wouldn't take a job only for the money. Usually, you end up being miserable that way. You mentioned you can pick up PRN or more time from a sister facility so that might fill in some gaps with job #1 as far as money is concerned. I think you have to look at the whole picture, family life, you own happiness, etc. Just from what you posted, it sounds like you'd be happier with Job #1.
Although, it's great to have multiple offers, especially in this economy, I know it's difficult having to choose. I've been in that position and you just hope and pray you pick the right one. :-)
What does your husband suggest? Definitely ask him what he thinks, if you haven't already.

I have 2 job offers in hand.
#1 - part time supervisor at a LTC facility. It would be 2 days/wk - eventually more. The DON will be good to work for. It's $24/hr, no benefits but I don't need them. Hours will vary but be mostly day. No weekends/holidays/call.
#2 - full time for a hospice co. Though the company is nation wide this office is SMALL (about 12 patients) and struggles. NOT because its a bad company..there are just others who have been here longer and have the market cornered. If there aren't any admissions I would assist w/visits and/or marketing. Call, while was presented optional, I think it something that really is expected 1x month and is paid. Hourly rate is same as job #1 - this is a Mon-Fri position, no holidays/weekends unless on call. Driving is a large part of the job. The hours would allow for doctor visits etc. but it sounds like it's either really busy or really boring. Honestly, the only benefit I see to this position is the money.
My personal life...a spouse that with job #2 I would only have 4 days/month off with, no children but run a small farm and I go to school FT (online thankfully).
I am very, very torn. With the job market as it is..the FT job is a blessing for sure, the part time job works better for me all the way around and does supply some much needed income but not obviously as much as the other. I could always pick up more time at a sister facility and have actually had a PRN offer from a small rehab hospital local to here as well.
Advice??? I am REALLY worried about this!!
