I have an interview with an Orthopedic Doctor on Thursday. I have already gone to the interview with the office manager. There are three girls that will be interviewing that day. I am the first one that he will talk to. I really want to me a good impression cause my heart and soul wants this job!!! How can I impress him? The office manager told me to do just what I did when I interviewed with her. What kind of questions can I ask him that I did not ask the Office Manager? The only thing I can think of is what is the age limit that he will be handling.
Can you guys help me?

Sometimes it may be better to ask what he sees as his major concerns. Ask questions about what he will expect of you towards fulfilling the needs of Pts. Ask if there was anything your predecessor did that worked well and was there anything that didn't work that you will be required to change in an effective manner. Ask about your benefits and if they work on annual evaluations etc. Be honest and answer question the best you can and if there is an aswer you don't know admit that and show enthusiasm to learn. Make your wishes know that you feel this is the right job for you and that you will do your best.
Thanks I appreciate the help. Me and the office manager went over the pay and the benefits. He is a new doctor to the practice.
Thanks again

Bossess want to know how you are going to make it possible for them to completer their work in a more timely fashion. In an office setting I would imagine that includes things like coordinating pt flow and enabling the doc to see the greater # of pts in the least amt of time.

What is the position? WIll you be expected to scrub with him for surgery? If so will you keep the same hours that he does or will you have to work with other doctors when he isn't there?
Find out exactly who and what you are responsible for. For example if you are the nurse will you also be expected to do xray? Crutch teaching, casting?
Good luck.
