Hi guys. I hope everyone is having a good day. I posted this on another group...I wasn't sure exactly where to post so I decided to post it here also. I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I am trying to find a job at one of the local hospitals in my area so that I can go to nursing school. I had a job interview with a hospital recruitor last week for a unit secretary position. The recruitor called me today to see if I could meet with the OR hiring manager next week. Everyone keeps telling me that I have the job and this is just a meeting to talk about benefits and other position related things. Anyone have an opinion on this? I am hoping "everyone" is right but like to see if anyone else has been through a similiar situation. Thanks in advance.

It has been my experience that if I am called in by HR to speak with another manager, etc, then that person liked me enough to have me join the staff.
Whether or not I got hired depended on the second interview.
So, really, I can't answer your question, but I wish you the best of luck! :)

Funny you should mention this. I just had a phone interview with the hospital for a patient care tech/unit secretary position. So I am in a similar position. No advice yet, but really nervous.
Good luck to you!!!
uh oh, I hope you both aren't in the same area.
:chuckle
Good luck to you both to what, hopefully, is two different positions! :)
