Go outside of your comfort zone.. Apply wherever you can to find a full time job. It's nearly impossible to extend your PGWP unless you get halfway through your immigration process. I'd say just email all the recruiters within a 6 hr radius of where you are living in. Never stay in the cities if you expect a fulltime job with immigration support as an IEN.. I was an IEN and I rented a car and drove around to nearby rural areas and personally handed out resumes and cover letters. Got a full time job on my first try at a rural city nursing home. This was 1.5 yrs ago but job situation has gotten worse since then...

I am an internationally graduated nurse. I graduated in 2013, I gave my nclex in April and cleared on 1st attempt. Recieved my license last month. Since than I am applying for jobs but no one calls me back except for an opportunity via Ontario health force for IEN nurses. I gave my interview and it went OK. but when i reflect back now feels like they are not going to call me. i messed at many point it didnt went that smooth .. Many of my seniors told me to build contacts as it will help me in getting job but i dont know any one here. Meanwhile applying for license i planned to do some specialized courses but it is difficult to decide any specialized certification as i dont know in which department my 1st job would be
