Clinical Nurse I - RN - Cardiac Telemetry

Clinical Nurse I - RN -Cardiac Care Unit

Both have the same Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse I is responsible for the direct provision of effective and comprehensive nursing care. Current New York State Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Specializes in acute care.

I'm sorry to hear that. {{{{{HUGS}}}} Don't take this the wrong way, but do you think that maybe your resume needs a little adjustment? Or maybe they found another resume that has more experience and they decided to go with that...There are a number a reasons why you were not chosen for an interview. If these are the units you want to work on, definitiely look into other hospitals...Good luck in your search...By any chance, was this for mount sinai?

Thanks for the encouragement. This is for New York Presbyterian. I thought my resume is pretty good and she said my qualification are impressive.... I guess this is just a generic rejection email. I'm not sure if she meant I'm not qualify for the position, or I shouldn't be applying to NYP anymore, now I'm hesitated to apply other positions in NYP.

I would still apply for other positions. There are two companies that when I first sent my resume, I wasn't called for an interview. With both companies, I waitied a few months, applied again and received a call. I'm in no way saying wait a few months. I'm only saying definitely look at other positions/units. Good luck

I am starting at NYP in the begining of aug. I am a new grad from a state school in MA. I actually applied for a cardiac step down, and when I went for the interview I was actually offered to interview for the CCU where i really wanted to be, but thought as a new grad it would be out of the question. Ovbiously there was something in my resume that caught someones eye. I really feel like a good resume can get you far. I'd definetly apply for other positions there, since they constantly review applications for new positions that open up, and the recruiters there have been really helpful through the whole process. Good luck!
