Hi all,I wanted to start a thread for accepted students in the accelerated track option who plan on attending in the Spring 2017. I just received my letter of acceptance today!! I'm so happy and excited; I hope to hear from others who have been admitted as well. Lets chat!
Hi, first of all, congratulations!!!
I am not from your area (no idea where JFK MUhlenberg is), nor am I yet accepted into any programs, but I am planning on in a year or so. Can I ask you where this school is? Also, how competitive was the selection process? Can you tell me what exactly did you have to do to apply in terms of pre-reqs, documents, essays, interviews and so on. I would really appreciate it!
Once again, congrats!
OP,
First off I got to tell you that I had no idea the there were still hospital based nursing dipolma programs. JFK Muhlenberg Hospital obviously sees a cash cow in starting the program because at $25,300 plus a year and all the free nursing labor they can get--WOOHOO, show me da money!!!
I ran this concept past my nursing guru and she told me that in the mid seventies when she went to the Grady Memorial Hospital dipolma school of nursing in Atlanta, Ga. the tuition was:
(GET THIS!), $110 a semester. (wait there's more!)
AND THAT INCLUDED ROOM AND BOARD!!!!
Someone get the smelling salts----STAT!
