jersey college lpn to RN program

Updated:   Published

Hello I live in Philadelphia. I just heard of a new school that just opened. It's a 15month lpn to RN program. You will will have ypur associates degree but the program is 30k! Is this exspensive or is it just me? Has anyone heard about the school or know anyone who attends?

hello i am currently will be attending the November class and from what i hear it is a good school to attend. 30k to become a nurse and work in my dream job is worth it to me so i say take a tour of the school and get a feel for it, that's what i did and have to say once i was told i got in all i want to do now is finish and graduate nothing but god is before my education. what price would you put on your education.

just to update had my orientation and I have to say they told us from the start that its going to be a hard program so i am ready and i already made changes to work so school won't be effected. Have you visited the school and will you be attending the next class.

Hi, there ,just stop by to give my advice all of you willing to enroll on the LPN to RN , I was a student at The Center for Allied Health and Nursing Education for 21 month ,its was a mistake from the start my classmates have been trying to finish that program for 3 month and I was kick out of the program 3 weeks before exit from school ,my grades were move up and down to accommodate this "voluntary withdraw" I was offer last quarter when the school call me for counseling I was told " you did not passed 2 classes and you have to leave the program" , but end up been a "human mistake while grading " once I request to review my test ,please be careful when choosing the school you are going to attend ,the time ,money and effort ,you put into becoming a nurse at this place is not worth it, worst part I am not the only one into this big mess ,just hope to be the last one. I make sure of that.

Good luck to everyone and to my classmates still trying to get out of there.

I am trying to get in the program. I would like to have some new update. How is it so far

I went there for a month and while the school looks nice I felt it was over priced for an AS degree the course has gone up I'm hearing it's about $33k now. I decide to stay with excelsior college as there overall tuition with clinical wouldn't even be half of what this school was charging.

A friend told me about excelsior but I am not toi good wit online school. Is the price the only problem that make u left or more than that.

The price had me a little but not being able to work and the travel was like 45-50 minutes one way plus a dollar toll every day on the way home. Besides those I would have stayed I guess I wasn't fully ready to attend when I did. Overall I will say it's a good school I have 3 friends who are still there and they are doing well.

I do not recommend this school for any body I was in 1st class after passing every course with very good grades, they won't let us go because of exit which they never give us good preparation for, the want us to go back to 3rd semester to repeat courses we passed already ! This is not a good school they are just about money making and not the warfare of their students!

When I hear things like this I'm so glade I didn't stay because for all the money they were charging I did feel that sometimes they were lacking in teaching not all the teachers but also hearing from classes that were ahead of me how some of the teachers would lecture about things all day and nothing about it had to do with the upcoming exams. Also I really didn't like how in some classes they would do the content review after the exams. What I mean is if the exam was on chapter 1-3 you would read those chapters on your own have the exam and then the teacher would lecture on those chapters and go over the exam to see what you got right or wrong.

Seems like it s no joke what I was thinking if they have this program part time evening some people will be more comfortable cause it like they rushing the student. Most student can't be stopping working because of their responsibilities which working and going full time to work its very hard

They were suppose to have a night class which I would have considered doing but so far nothing as of yet I will check and see if they have one possibly starting when I went there they had plans to start on I think this January 201. The Florida campus has nights so I'm not sure why the jersey campus doesn't.
