Jersey City Med Ctr or Palisaides Med Ctr

I am graduating in December and starting to get a little nervous about working.

Currently I am studying in Illinois... but I am originally from Jersey City.

I was just wondering if any of you have any insight on these 2 hospitals (Jersey City Medical Center OR Palisaides Medical Center).

Those of you who work/had clinicals there, did you like the environment? are the nurses willing to teach? how is the preceptorship?

i did my clinicals at both palisades medical center and jersey city, I am an LPN. Palisades i did almost all my clinical rotation, its a very nice clean hospital, and there is great rooom for growth, the staff are willing to teach. I prefer palisades over jersey city hospital.

I did my PSYCH rotation at jersey city, its an okay hospital, but something about it gives me the creeps.

I live a couple of minutes away from Jersey City Med. It'd be nice if I can just work there!! The crime rate is very high in JC which might be the reason why it felt "creepy." :)
