Jefferson Davis Fall 2011

Hi everyone. Has anyone else on this site applied for the Fall 2011 RN program at Jefferson Davis? If so, have you heard anything yet? Also, how many points do you have? Thanks.

I live in Pace. As soon as we get our schedules and if anyone out there wants to carpool hit me up because I'm not looking forward to that 124mile roundtrip commute!

does your acceptance letter say whether you were accepted to the nursing program at the atmore campus-or-the- brewton campus? mine says atmore.

Anyone accepted into the fall 2011 class goes to atmore. The following class accepted into january 2012 go to brewton.

Thanks~I realized that after I went to the web-I just want to do things perfectly so that nothing goes wrong with the registration process-it feels too good to be true-Lol!! And I don't want to jinx it. =]

I know what you mean kim! I've worked so long and hard on my prereqs and I still can't believe I'm finally in the program! Are you just taking nursing classes or do you still have to take electives?

I only need a humanities class-but I will take that later. It has been a long road to get here-I have really made my grades the priority in my life-which has not been easy. The next step for me is to tackle getting those shots!! Not looking forward to that! :uhoh3:

Since you live in Pace do you plan on cutting thru Quintette Rd to HWY 29 to Hwy 97 ? I am not real familiar with alternate routes in santa rosa county. Have you been enrolled in just Jdcc or did u transfer from PJC/PSC? I took a 12 week MICRO/and lab at PJC. I like JDCC much better-I am excited.

Well that's good you only have that class. I'm so grateful I only have the nursing classes to take! I'm not too sure what route I'm gna take, as I'm still getting familiar with santa rosa county so I def need to look into that. I took all my prereqs at pjc and the rest of the classes I took when I was in Boston. I haven't been to the campus in atmore yet. Hopefully its not too close to the casino, lol.

Well I got some of my shots and form B completed today. I have BLS certification on Wednesday. I'm almost ready for orientation :D

If you don't mind me asking if you got the TB skin test? If so where? I called the health dept. and they said they don't offer it. I need to get busy and get my shots! :)

I went to my family practice doctor for the tst, tetorifice, and hep b and varicella titers. The only thing I'm missing now is the flu shot.
