Jeff State Summer 2016 - Applicants

Hi! After reading previous threads from other Jefferson State Community College Nursing applicants, I decided to start a new thread for Summer 2016 hopefuls! I am planning to apply and I would LOVE to hear from anyone else who is interested in the Summer 2016 program. Or anyone who may have advice, insight, etc. (all is appreciated and welcomed!) Thanks! Ours were due on the 4th at the Shelby-Hoover campus. I have never been so anxious in my life!

Hey, just wanted to ask yall a quick question...

When submitting your applications, who did you give them too? like where did you physically put them or to whom?

I filled out mine on the shelby campus with the advisor and she just took it...so i assumed that she was going to turn it in.. or was i supposed to turn it in somewhere else?

I'm getting nervous and am really hoping that she turned it in.... did this happen to anyone else?

I turned mine in at the Jefferson campus to the nursing advisor. If you turned it in to any advisor I'm sure they got it to where it needed to be. But for your own peace of mind, it wouldn't hurt to just call and make sure they have it I guess?

From other feeds I've read, the people who applied last summer didn't find out til first week of March or so....I hope it won't be that long for us!

When I emailed the nursing advisor at Shelby last week she said 1-2 weeks so either this week or next week! :nailbiting:

Btw, I just turned mine in with the advising office at Shelby-Hoover because that is where it said to go. No worries!!
