Hi! After reading previous threads from other Jefferson State Community College Nursing applicants, I decided to start a new thread for Summer 2016 hopefuls! I am planning to apply and I would LOVE to hear from anyone else who is interested in the Summer 2016 program. Or anyone who may have advice, insight, etc. (all is appreciated and welcomed!) Thanks! And best of luck to everyone.

Hi I Plan on applying for the summer 2016 too
Hey Shonta! Are you wanting to do day or night/weekends? And which campus?
The Day program. I been thinking about doing the the Night/Weekend Program for the Fall.
That's great! If you don't mind me asking, how many points are you applying with?
I don't know as of yet. I am hoping to make a 80% or above on the Teas v test. But Made a B in my Biology 201 class
Well just to put it out there...as of right now I'll be applying with 182pts for the summer program. From previous threads that I've seen I think I may be pretty good! Still planning to talk to the nursing adviser Mrs. Johnson at the Jefferson campus soon though just to see what she says. I MAY retake my TEAS to bring my points up some but I'm really praying this will do it! I started this thread in hopes others would chime in. Hopefully someone else is as eager as I am lol :)
That's good!! If I pass my next class with an A I am hoping to make around 183 but hoping I get 193 points if I do excellent on the teas test. I shall see in a few weeks
That's great girl!!! I wish you all the best! Keep in touch and let me know how everything works out. @shonta05
Thank you! And same to you

@hsarmi Hi! If you go to the school website, Jefferson State Community College at the top click on programs then career/professional programs then the nursing education tab to the left of the screen, it will have all the info you need. Under the admissions requirement tab you'll see the checklist for what all you need and what classes you can use towards your points and how to calculate them! I hope this helps?
