I do not attend the night/wknd program but I do know that they have recently upped the admission numbers to 85 for the first semester class at each campus and they have spots for 55 in 2nd semester if that gives any hints to progression. I think we lost about 20 out of 50 first semester, 16 out of about 40 2nd semester, 2 out of 28 3rd semester and just started 4th with 26 students. Good Luck!
I have already completed a semester of an ADN program. At the end of each semester you take a test called the ATI that is used as a predictor for passing the NCLEX. The highest level is a Level 3.
I believe the TEAS is on a 150 point scale so a 72.7 would be just below 50% but I am not aware of any level system for the TEAS. Are you applying for the nursing program at Jeff State?
A friend of mine had to withdraw from the nursing program at Bevill during 3rd semester, due to family illness. Instead of sitting out for a year she talked to Wallace and Jeff St about transering in as a 3rd semester student. Wallace said no, flat out. Said they reserve their empty seats for their own students that fail to progress. Jeff St took her app and later that day told her she didn't have enough points to get in. The points were based on math, A&P 1 and 2, and Compass score. She had B's in 1&2, and MTH 100, and a 98 on on Compass reading. All of her previous nursing scores were A's and B's. Then come to find out the head of Jeff St and the head of Bevill St nursing programs are friends.
Getting into a program is much easier than transfering in from another program. But, it never hurts to try.

Are there any current students in 102 in the night program at Jeff State? I am trying to transfer in to the program joining in 106 in the summer and am curious about the progression rate. Put simply, are most of the students doing well and progressing through the program or do you lose a few at the end of every semester?
I just finished the first semester at another local school and won't be attending there anymore. Good grades, but the school was not a good fit for me. I feel like if there are spots available for transfer students I will be able to earn one. I just wanted some insight related to the probability of a spot opening up for me.
Thanks in advance!
