Hi everyone!! I currently attend Jeff State Shelby Campus. I am applying for the Spring this fall. I am so excited! I have taken the teas once but did not get the store I wanted so I am currently preparing to take it at least twice before the summer is out! So pumped...anyone else?

For past or present Jeff state students: What hospitals do they use for clinicals? Also, do clinicals take up a whole day, or do you ever go to one after class? Just wondering...Thanks in advance!

Fantastic question... I'm interested in hearing the answer too. I've just received my clear background check, so I think I'm good for orientation. I guess I need to start getting my shots... Does anyone know the cheapest route for that? Doctor or health dept?

Medhelp is where I'm going. There's one on 280 and Lakeshore. Insurance covers all the shots except the skin test which is $15. Walk ins are welcome =)

When did everyone submit their applications that have received acceptance letters? Im just curious so that I have an idea of when I should hear something. Thanks guys

I submitted mine around the first of September hoping I would hear something quickly. They said nobody would hear anything until a couple weeks after the deadline. I got my email the same day last week as several others on this thread.

I called last week when everyone else was getting their emails. I was told that I was below the cutoff. But I got an acceptance email Tuesday of this week, I assume because some people did not accept their spot. I submitted my application October 4th.

Just curious, what did they say the cutoff was? Is that overall or is it different by campus? I've heard a few people talking here and there about their number and was a little concerned when more than a few were well over 200. I had 197 which I initially thought was more than enough but got a little concerned when I heard those higher numbers.

I honestly did not ask what the cutoff was, and she did not volunteer the information. I was admitted to the Shelby campus.
