Japanese RN to move to the States.

Hi! I have a friend who is japanese, and is currently an RN in Japan. We were just wondering if if she goes to OH, does she have to go to school to be an RN again?

thanks! :)

She will not need to go to school again. Her transcripts would ned to be evaluated by getting the CES done, this is a credentials eval done by CGFNS. Ohio actually requires it. That will tell her if she needs to make up any hours, but she will not need to repeat a program. She will also need to pass the series of English exams and get a Visa Screen Certificate.

Man, too bad that I can't do the opposite of what she's doing...
