2012 January Aria students?

Published

Hi. Anyone apply for Aria SON? for January 2012 start?:)

@yyks Yeah the only thing i got was that verification letter too.

I got my financial aid letter today... no aid as usual just letting me know i can borrow money..also, it took a wk for them make a decision on one of my vaccintions which has been rejected...one has no choice but to run around & fix it..asap...its crazy....

Anyone know when we will be able to "borrow" money?

@wontgiveup Thanks for the info!

No problem Jess02..

@YYKS- theres a period of 10 days in which to make the decision. Then i guess one should be able to before january..

The money wont be dispursed until january

The signed financial aid letter is due 11/26/11

Based on the other forum for January 2011. Start- people already knew their schedules this time last November ( if my memory is not tricking me, I read the other forum a month ago). I wish we weren't "hanging" in thin air not knowing anything. Didn't even get my orientation letter yet. And I do believe somewhere in the packet it said once the deposit check goes through- we will get a letter about orientation.

@YYKS Yeah i do remember in the packet it said we'd get the letter for orientation after that. Seems like the people in the other forum got a lot of their info from Aria sooner than we are. :/

What paperwork is that YYKS?? verification paperwork??

also, I did receive my financial aid letter telling me what aid I have.

I also got emails that my meningitis vaccine was declined. I chose NOT to get it because it stated it was optional, then they declined me because I didn't get it. I called Julie and left a message on her answering machine. All my other paperwork is completed. YAY!!!!

Oh, and my Nursing Fundamentals book came yesterday. It's a set of two and they're HUGE and HEAVY. I'll be going to staples and getting them unbound and punched with holes so I can carry only the chapters I need!!!

@Jess 02

I faxed my child abuse form. Then went in and uploaded it from the Magnus tracker but ran into the same problem not knowing where to attach it. I called and a girl uploaded it for me. I had no problems. But it seems that it depends on who you talk to as to what kind of help you'll receive...NOT cool!

:banghead: Seems like we're the guinea pigs for this new system of handing in paperwork to the school. I think I remember reading one of the students saying they had to resubmit one form like 3 times (school kept losing it) and she told us make sure we make copies. This is probably Aria's way of NOT losing paperwork, but it's making a TON more work for us. Much harder than just getting appointments and shots, etc done and mailing in the results. :banghead:
