I would like some opinions about this school. A few nurses that I know say that the school does not have a great reputation because of its low NCLEX pass rate. However, for the past couple of years the rates have improved dramatically. Has anyone attended the school in the past? What is the good and the bad about the program (RN)? Do you think I will have trouble finding a job if I attend this school? I am only asking because nurses who do not know each other have all mentioned this school in a negative light.

I don't know much about the school other than it's there. :) However, if you get a nursing degree, you can get a job just about anywhere, despite which school that degree came from! Good luck!

Hello! Just curious if anyone out there has also applied to JCC for the Fall 06 semester and what their total points were (or if they have some scoop on the point standings this year!!). Maybe we could compare and see where we stand - the wait is terrible!!!

I think that everyone has something negative to say about every school, but there are some positives, or so I have heard about JSCC, I've heard they have an excellent financial aid department, and they have very smart instructors for the most part! Nursing school is just HARD, no matter where you go! It has a reputation for being very hard, and very demanding. But it can be done, the NCLEX rate has improved, and JSCC has been named one of the better nursing schools to attend, however it does have a reputation for producing bad anxiety!

:uhoh3:Oh dear! What does bad text anxiety mean? really tough exams?
