Jacksonville University ABSN Summer 2021

Hi all! I haven't been able to find a forum for JU's ABSN for Summer 2021 so I thought I would make one! Is anyone else applying for the Summer 2021 term or any current students that could give insight?:)

They are rolling admissions, so for the 16 month we should hear back end of the month and for the 12 month about 2-4 weeks after your app is completed!

Was there anything you found out besides that you thought was really clarifying? Also, just out of curiosity, which cohort did you guys list as your preference?:)

they clarified the tuition cost, for both ABSN its a $70k flat tuition divided among the 3 semesters(12 month) and 4 semesters(16 month). There are payment plans for each semester but that you discuss before the semester starts. 

I put my preference as the 12-month track but I'd be just as thrilled to get accepted into either the 12 or the 16! ? what about you!

I selected 16-month, but I agree I would be excited about either one:) The waiting game is so hard haha

I also applied to USF so I am waiting to hear back from both but JU is my top since I'm from jacksonville! I'm constantly checking my email/application portals! haha

Well whatever’s meant to be will be, but fingers crossed haha. Also, if I do end up getting in, I would love to ask you questions about the area! I’m from Seattle and will have to figure out moving really quickly if I get into the Summer cohort.

I'm moving to Jax from the Seattle area too!  I asked for the 12-month program but just like everyone else, I would be happy to just be accepted to either.

Omgeee the curiosity is killing me LOL. Will some drop an update if you know when we find out.. is it next wk<last wk of march>

So I would think we should be hearing back within the next week/week and a half for the 16 month cohort since it starts in may. The 12 month cohort doesn't start until August. But like I said, I would think we should be finding out soon for both.

Decisions are out! I got in with a scholarship, but UNF is the cheaper option still. good luck everyone!
