I am planning to apply to the Indiana Vocational Technical Community College (IVY Tech) ASN program. Does anybody know what constitutes a competitive TEAS score? I am debating on retaking the exam because I know with a little preparation I can do better, but money is tight and I'm trying to decide if I want to just go with my current score.
Any help, speculation, or words of advice are greatly appreciated. Have a nice day.

I have no clue about your school, but a composite of 80% and over is good at my school. Doesn't mean you'll necessarily get in....but it's a decent score.
What did you get?
My composite is 89. I know I can improve on the Math section, but I just wish they would make the median scores from the past public. I'm not really for sure how competitive it actually is to get in. I hear and read conflicting accounts about how tough it is to gain admission.

With an 89 composite that should be WAY up there as far as your percentile rank...it should be 98 or 99% up there somewhere. It should have printed out with your results...that is how you ranked nationally.
89 is an EXCELLENT composite score. Most people don't do better than that.

I'm guessing by your Purdue name that you are attending the Lafayette Ivy Tech... I am as well. I heard that the average teas score that was admitted into the nursing program was an 83% so you are doing well. I took my teas on friday during spring break and was stressed out... just trying to turn in my application sometime this week now and start waiting!
