I suggest sticking to the PN because you may not get into the ASN program like you're hoping for.
LPN's are valuable, too, and if you look at it this way, you'll be done with school before the ASN students are, which means you can start working as a nurse sooner!
There are SOME campuses that will allow you to switch into the ASN program after the first semester. I don't know what the requirements are for that or how they make that choice, but it has happened before.

Good evening,
i have been accepted into Ivy Tech's fall PN program. Does anyone know if I would still be eligible to apply for the spring ASN program? Otherwise, I'm debating declining the LPN spot and waiting for September to apply for spring ASN.
