Hey all.
I was just wondering if anyone knew how difficult it was to get into the PN program(specifically in kokomo or surrounding areas)? I have taken ANP 101 and received a B. I also received an A in ENG 111. However, I am really stressing about my current ANP 102 class since I already got a B in the first class. Could anyone ease my mind and tell me what the admission cut off is rumored to be?? I still need to take PSY and the TEAS in the spring, but I am just trying to stay afloat as this semester comes to an end!!!
Thanks so much!

Hey, I'm in the Logansport LN program. I had...
A 80.6% over all on my Teas. With a
95.0% in Reading
64.4% in Math
86.7% in Science
80% in English
In my Classes I had...
Eng 111 - A
Mat 111 - B
Psy 101 - B
ANP 101 - B
ANP 102 - C
They will tell you it's very hard to get into it especially the Kokomo one. But, there was a girl that was on the waiting list for both Logan and Kokomo and she got into the Kokomo one. You're best bet is to apply to a few programs. Kokomo, Logan, Wabash... ect.....
How that helps.
Thanks! How do you like Logan's LPN program?
It's tough but I'm doing ok. Just received all my grades except one but I'm happy. Did kind of throw us all off. To get into the program majority of everyone has Pretty high grades and used to A's & B's. But, once we are in the program you are working hard for every single %. But, we keep reminding each other that once we get our license it won't say Jane Doe LPN with a C in Pharmacology. But, I'm sure that's with every program. But, one thing I do like about my class is that we are not competitive with one another. My friend that's in the Kokomo PN program says they are very much so with one another. And she says the instructures make it seem like she is a burrden when she asks a question.

I know the cutoff for this Fall's Lafayette LPN class was 198 - much higher than I think most people expected it to be. I got into the RN program with a 208, but if only one of my As had been a B, I might have been on the fence for the LPN! I had no idea it was really that competitive for this Fall. Good luck applying! :)

shanty,
i just got accepted into the pn program in logansport. i also applied to lafayette & kokomo and got denied. to get into kokomo & especially lafayette you basically need straight a's and a really high teas score. i got into logansports program with
anatomy i-a, anatomy ii-c, psych-a, english comp-b & a 75 on my teas. i know..not great grades. so study hard!! if you have any other questions feel free to look me up on facebook =o) and shoot me a message.
Thx Ericka! I just be-friended you on FB. :)
