Hello all! To those who have gone to Ivy Tech or have experience with this, I have a B in English Comp.
I was just wondering if this would effect me adversely with their point system. It looks like an A is 15 points for that class and a B is 10. I plan on trying my best to get an A in the other classes, but do you think, since I am not taking this over again to get an A, I'm hurting my chances?
IMO, getting an A (at least for me in English) is hard. Some teachers grade lightly, I noticed, and some go really hard with essays and such.
I guess, I just need some encouragement or just hear someone else say that I should be okay. I want to get in SO bad, so I'm just worried. Thank you guys and I hope you are having a wonderful day (or whatever time you read this lol).
I just found out my General Psychology course will transfer in as Psych 101. So that means I have 2 Bs for my prereqs so far. This makes me nervous.

You should be nervous. I would apply to several schools and be willing to make a drive or relocate.
Oh wow ok...
I legit feel like I should just quit while I'm ahead. Can a mod close this topic please?
I figured I post this since it wasn't deleted. For anyone searching on this topic, my advisor said that having 2 Bs in prereqs should be ok for the LPN program but you have less of a chance for the RN. I'm going to Ivy Tech, and I know different nursing programs have different requirements. So don't worry like I did and just talk to your advisor before you freak out like I did. lol
