I've been reading "allnurses" for several years, never thinking I'd reach this point. So, I never registered. However, after 2-years of night classes the dream of nursing might become a reality. Now, the wait for acceptance/denial begins. It's all come to this point for many of us.
Several years ago there was a forum where people were waiting on THE letter. Why not have one for the folks waiting on 2011? If there IS one I missed it.
We're all in the same boat, all waiting on the letter, and wondering if there was a minor detail overlooked. Was the score high enough? Did my transcript fall through the folder, then get swept under the desk? (That one woke me up last night) In my case, my brain can handle the wait...my stomach/intestines are not doing so well.
Thought this might be a nice thread to vent, support, and otherwise worry with each other for the next couple of months. Near as I can tell, it's going to be 74 days, give or take, before we all know....one way or the other.
You are still waiitng on letters from Esat central and Richmond? Is that ASN or PN? ASn letters were sent out last week or the week before for both of those places I believe?
I am waiting for the LPN letters...perhaps I am getting ahead of myself.
I just really want to know the dates and times etc and figure out everything I need to do before class...especially dealing with immunizations because I have no record of mine so I will have to hunt them down somehow or get them over. $$$

Wonder if we had any classes together? I was chatting with another gal on a different message board and she called my name out...I was like' "Huh? I got a call today from the Nursing Office to ask if I would like to be an alternate. So for all of you out there who got a rejection letter (like I did) keep your hopes up!!
