I've lost my mojo.....

Published

I'm doing an external post graduate diploma nursing (mental health) and I just can't get into my study. My work has been up and down of late (less work, less money), and my sleeping schedule has been really thrown out of whack. I went on Lexapro (Escitalopram) to help with SAD (seasonal affective disorder), cos the winter was getting me down. I think it has made me really tired and sluggish, even though I split my dose to a 5mg tablet mane, and 5mg nocte. I struggle to get out of bed in the morning for work or even when I'm off.

I can't afford the book for study either - tried to get help to buy it (no luck), and they don't have it secondhand.

I used to enjoy study but now I find it a struggle. I've asked for an extension which I don't see any problem with getting.

How can I get my interest back in study? I don't want to have to drop out of this subject because of work/personal problems, cos I'll have to pay for it anyway. Also I failed one subject and don't want to fail another one. I really want to get my post grad dip.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Thanx!

Carol, I've located a South African supplier that apparently has this book-9th edition, Gail Wiscarz Stuart-in stock, and the price is ZAR783, you'd have to check the conversion rates and P&P. The company is called Exclusives.

Sorry I can't help any more than that, you sound desperate!
