Hi,

I have checkoff tomorrow. After you primed the secondary tubing, are you supposed to close the clamp of the secondary tubing while regulating the drip rate of the primary tubing?

JUST KIDDING.

Close the clamp. Best to regulate with an innocuous IVF than with some antibiotic or piggyback that might have only 50 ml's of fluid in it to begin with, right?

PS I see you already had check-offs. How'd you do?

Because with the pumps we use it does a cassette check so we need to have the clamps open before we turn the pump on. Otherwise it will detect occlusion.
