Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good IV Med book and a Good IV Therapy book. There are so many and I would like to know your recommendations before I spend more money and end up with another dud.
Thanks
Sorry I am so tired I thought I was on the Student General Nursing board.
But if you want to take pity on me, please feel free to do so. I would greatly appreciate a recommendation for a good book.
Thank you.

Try Prentice Hall's Nurses Drug Guide. It is a great all around drug book that includes pedi doses and also IV information. It is the only one I have had during school while other students have bought at least 3 so far.

I carry a book called Nurse's Pocket Drug Guide 2010 by Judith A. Barberio (ISBN 978-0-07-162743-6). I had the 2009 prior to this, it has every medication that I have administered so far in the ED setting. It is very handy in that it is small and fits easily in my pocket. For more in depth info if needed I keep a Mosby's Drug Guide in my backpack at the nurse's station.
