I have been so good with getting enough sleep, at least 7 hours a night. But right now... I am wiped out! Studying is so draining. Its a Saturday night, and I want to go out and do something... I dont even care where I go, I just want to get away from the confinement of my room and remind myself that my life aside from nursing school is still intact...:zzzzz

So give yourself permission to take a couple of hours off and do something :) Go take a walk, grab a drink, watch a movie, visit a friend, take a long bubble bath, go to bed early, or read something that doesn't weight 8 lbs...or do all of the above.
You can't live NS 24/7 because you will go insane--you need some dowtime for yourself. You'll burn out if you don't make some.

I know what you mean. I've been studying since 8 this morning. Well, about 5 of those hours were spent doing homework but still. It is extremely exhausting. I wish I could go out tonight and relax a bit. But I have my math test on Monday. I have to get a 90% on it or get booted from the program. So tomorrow my entire day and night I will be studying math.
What were you saying about sleep? I'm not sure I even know the true meaning anymore! lol

I feel the same way. I am graduating in May and I can't wait to get there. This year is just so exausting so far. I have OB, Nursing Concepts, Care of the Community, Medi-eval literature and Critical Nursing thinking. We are basically teaching ourselves OB since she doesn't lecture in class and gives us worksheets to do for 3 hours. It's a saturday night and I am in doing hw. My family tries to tell me to go out, but i can't push myself to do it. I am so close to the end yet so far I just can't blow it. I think this is the most stressful year yet and it has only just begun!!!
