Did anyone apply to ICC? I am wanting to here now and I am going crazy.

Hey!! that is EXACTLY how I feel...I wake up at night thinking about that acceptance letter, because I want it so bad...I applied to ICC also, for this Fall....I have been trying to find someone....anyone....who has applied also...just to talk. I know ICC is on a point system. I would like to know how most people who are accepted into their program fall in their rankings...anyways, It's nice to meet you, and you ARE NOT alone :)

I believe the letters for RN start going out first of June.

They have started sending out some of the RN letters now.

I got my letter friday, the 6th, saying that I got into the rn program I also got into the lpn.

Hello! I just got accepted into ICC's program and was wondering if you guys are already registering for classes yet. I'm going to be living in Fulton and I'm pretty excited!

I have already registered for my classes, I am going to take skills for nursing to make myself full time. I have to be full time to keep my scholarship. Are you moving to fulton, or do you already live here.

I've only enrolled in the microbiology class so far. I am visiting my husband down in Florida (he's on active duty), but I am going to be living in Fulton. His family is from the area and I am going to be staying with them. Congrats on the scholarship! Have you bought any books, supplies, etc? Or are you waiting until class begins?

For micro buy the 5th edition off online, I never used mine more 6 times and the 6th edition is 185 in the bookstore. I have been buying up pens, folders, and paper, but nothing else. There is a thread on here "what are the items you most need most for nursing school" look it up. You will need cards for micro.

Do you plan to work, or do you have children? We will for sure have to look each other up when school starts.

Ashley

We definitely will! I don't have any kids, waiting on getting that RN! Do you still have your Microbiology book? Where are you staying while going through the program?

i am married and have daughter, she is 19 months. i live 10 minutes from the school. i may know some of your husbands family i have lived here my whole life.

if you are paying out off pocket for books the list for them should be out by the middle of july, don't buy them in the bookstore if you don't have to. i don't have the book anymore, but i got off of cheapesttextbooks.com for 10 bucks. the isbn is 0072951702. make sure you get in all of your required proof (shots, cpr, and physical) it can take a week or so to change your major to be able to registrar for nursing classes. is micro the only other non nursing class that you need? i may can help with the good teachers in the other classes. i am taking fundamentals mwf 8am and lab on t & r 8 am and the dosage fri at 10.

do you know anyone else that got into the program, because you are the only other person that i know of the has got in.

anything else, just ask!!

ashley

Congrats!!!!!! I graduated from ICC RN in May. I am in orientation at NMMC with women's/childrens line. Good luck.

Mary Ann
