Italian Nurse working in Canada

Hello,

i would like to have infos on working as a nurse at emergency department or prehospital emergency in Montreal.

Friend of mine is a nurse in Italy working at emergency dept in Tuscany, She's BLSD and ACLS certificated. She would like to know what she would have to do to work for a period as nurse in emergency in Montreal.

She will have to apply to Montreal nursing board and meet all their requirements for foreign trained nurse. I also believe for Montreal will need to be fluent in French. Once eligible to sit the Canadian exam (again I think Montreal is different) she will need to find a employer and apply for a temp work visa
