Is it worth $100

So today I bought a digital voice recorder, spend about half an hour trying to download it, finally my bf figures it out from his computer, I'm running on a system with too much speed, so I have to take it back and exchange it. The only one that is compatible with my system is $100, would u guys say its worth the price? I know I can tape my lectures so I could use it.

you re-listen to your lectures for a 2nd time? wow, i give you major props. once was all i could handle.
