Hi all! I'm about to graduate with my DNP to become an AGNP. I wanted to seek your opinion about moving to a restricted practice state.
I currently live on the west coast and I wanted to make the move to Nashville, TN. I am looking forward to more variable weather (instead of desert landscape) in addition to southern hospitality. To those who live and or practice as an APRN in this area, what are your thoughts? Is it worth the move ? Is the work environment enjoyable? I am fed up with the way things are around my area. What is your experience with working in a restricted practice state. Feel free to post your experiences!

What was the point of spending the time, money and effort on a DNP if you're not going to try and maximize its utility via FPA?

If we don't fight for FPA we won't have it. I think any restricted practice state is running on short time. The future is coming, legislators are working hard for this change.
